The first thing in his memories is washing up on the shores of Cymru. From there he wandered. He took a few jobs as a farmhand and dock worker. One day when he was sent out on a trade errand with a local town, he heard voices beckoning him to the forest. The voices had asked for his name, but he did not know his name. He gave the first word he could think of which was Coedwig. From there he was whisked away into the land of the Fae and spent an unknown number of years in service of them learning the ways of alchemy and druidic crafts. In a tragic turn of events his now homelands were cut down by English settlers and their expansions. Coedwig was able to save one of his brethren Spruce by allowing him to bond with him on a physical level. Coedwig and Spruce first met the coalition while they were ashore at some kind of gathering. Coedwig approached and offered them special drinks which one of them took a liking to. Coedwig made a pact to meet up with them any time they came ashore, he could not go out to sea with them as he was bound to the lands to serve them.
